Introducing Immersion

AAIR is pleased to present 'Immersion', a multichannel composition with sounds recorded specifically in a historic water resevoir in Berlin. Performed live at Netwerk/Centre for Contemporary Art in Aalst, Belgium, October 2007. Marc Behrens (b. Darmstadt, Germany 1970) lives and works in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. A sound artist working across performance, installation and recorded media, Behrens' audio work has a particular focus on the integration of natural and man-made environments. His electronic music is created through editing and processing material recorded/collected in forests, building interiors, constructions sites, train stations...
